EverybodyCanHelp started with a simple observation: there are people around the world who want to help, and people right now who need it — and far too much gets lost between them. We built a direct line between the two.
We kept hearing the same thing from people who wanted to help: it was hard to know where the help actually went. Big organizations do important work, but the connection between the person giving and the person receiving often gets lost along the way.
At the same time, we knew people in Cuba dealing with real, daily shortages of food, medicine, and basic goods — people whose families and friends abroad wanted to help directly but didn't have an easy way to do it.
So we built EverybodyCanHelp: a simple way for one person to send help straight to another. No warehouse in between. Just a package, a person, and a connection.
Everyone we work with is treated as a person, not a case number. Help should never come with judgment.
We keep as little as possible between the person giving and the person receiving.
A package is a start. We want senders and recipients to build a genuine, ongoing relationship.
Our first matches are connecting senders in Canada and the U.S. with families in Cuba.
We're preparing to open EverybodyCanHelp to more communities facing hardship around the world.
Our long-term goal is simple: wherever someone needs help, and wherever someone wants to give it, we want to make the connection possible.
